George P. Harbison
Chief Financial Officer

George P. Harbison has served as U.S. Education Corporation’s Chief Financial Officer since joining the company in June, 2003. In his role, Mr. Harbison is responsible for the company’s finance, accounting, real estate, information technology, and risk management functions.

Mr. Harbison has nearly 30 years of financial management experience serving private, public and multinational corporations. Prior to his tenure with U.S. Education Corporation, he most recently served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Real Mex Foods, the parent company of Acapulco and El Torito Restaurants. Previously, Mr. Harbison served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Ladbroke/USA, the $1 billion United States gaming division of London-based Hilton Group Plc (formerly Ladbroke Group Plc). Earlier in his career, Mr. Harbison held various financial management positions with American Hospital Supply, W.R. Grace & Company, and Trans/Pacific Restaurants, Inc.

Mr. Harbison is an honor graduate of Kenyon College (Gambier, OH) and holds an MBA from the University of Michigan.
