Rob Robichaud Appointed Executive Director of Apollo College’s Boise Campus

BOISE, Idaho. -- Nov. 30, 2009 -- Apollo College has announced the appointment of Rob Robichaud as executive director of the Apollo College Boise campus. Robichaud replaces Dr. Lois Hine, who held the position for one year and has been promoted to corporate nursing director for all of Apollo College.  

“Rob’s combination of business experience, leadership ability, and enthusiasm for who we are and what we bring to the community makes him the ideal candidate to continue the strong tradition of success at Apollo College Boise,” said Chuck Ericson, director of operations at Apollo College.

Previously Campus President of ITT-Technical Institute, Robichaud has proven himself as an active change agent in improving the environment and quality of education. He brings an extensive history in private sector education, performance management and multi-unit leadership. 

“Apollo College’s career-oriented programs help students build a foundation for the rest of their life and are the building blocks to their success,” said Robichaud. “I am excited to be part of this building process at Apollo College.”

Beginning at Eastern Washington University, Robichaud received a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and continued on at Washington State University to achieve a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice. He spent five years working in leadership functions at Home Depot progressing from assistant store manager to corporate division director of the Northwest division. More recently, Robichaud served as Campus President for ITT-Technical Institute and as a consultant for New Horizons in Bellevue, WA. Originally from the Treasure Valley, Robichaud looks forward for the opportunity to return to the Boise area.
